Yes, we're still alive.

We are all moved out of our apartment and tomorrow morning we start our journey. I apologize for our absence in the blogging world. Rest assured, we will be back. It's been crazy busy. We've been living it up and we have so much to blog about, graduation, family visits, sleepless nights-by choice, and of course moving.
Well, to hold you over until I can update again, check out our family and couple pics.
Yes, these are done by our the same friend who did our last pictures of the girls and family. She is good!!! Thanks Chell!

Props goes to....

Matthew!

Awwwww Ya! Matthew passed WREBs!

Okay seriously, we're very proud of Matthew and we're giving many thanks to our Father in Heaven. Matthew passed his clinical boards exam! I think that was the last major stress, and when we opened his results, we sighed a BIG breath of relief. We didn't even know we were still stressin' about that one and now that we know he's done, we can just enjoy this last few weeks here. Ya, we're still trying to find a place to live, trying to find health insurance, ya he still has a few things to finish at school and drop patients, ya maybe I'll have some kind of surgery on my sinuses before we move, but hey, it'll all work out.
Matthew we love you! Thank you for all your hard work and for taking us along this journey! You're our Hero, over and over again!

A little family dinner celebration

(no, I don't know where Nani is)

Just add it to the list of good byes

Although, there will be many good byes, there will soon be many firsts to say hello to.
Hold on to your pants, and say hello to BACON EXPLOSION!

My dear husband has been fantasising about this bacon explosion since a little before the Super Bowl. There are a few things that are sure to come up in conversation with Matthew, politics- whether it be in humor or seriousness, and the bacon explosion.
As our friend Dave appropriately put it, "The Proud Father"
here it goes....

Mmm...delicious!

Some more grubbin' food! Ash, these do look good and they were GOOD! (btw, I stole your pics) Thanks for doing one last BBQ.
The group
the ladies

hanging out down by the watera little rope swing action, which my husband so kindly let Jared and Justin help me with. Thanks guys and I guess thank you Matthew for watching and making sure it was video. Love ya!

You'll have to check out the video of the "crazy" pregnant lady on the swing. Nice Em, you do us proud!

The "Good-byes" begin

Since we'll be moving soon, we went down to D.C. and stayed with some friends from undergrad. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a really good time together.

Good bye O'neils.

( I had to put this picture of Matthew calling his friend, Dave, just to tell him we're passing the Federal Reserve building. It's a political picture for Matthew's viewing pleasure.)
Good bye to Matthew's political conversations in the car pool, never thought I would miss that.

A quick pic at the Museum of Natural History
Good bye to ALL the many things to do on the East side.

And of course we got to do one last session in the D.C. temple. The Temple is always a good experience, but what made it even better was that we ran into one of my old roommates. She's getting married at the end of this month and we thought that we were going to be able to go. Soon after we made our plans to move, we found out that we're going to miss it by one day:(

To see her there and meet her fiance was definitely the icing on the cake!

(oh, no picture, I didn't have the camera with me at that moment.)
Good bye D.C. Temple

Then we came home and celebrated a birthday for our friend. This is as gourmet as it gets at the Perrys'.

Matthew's beautiful scrumptious dessert creation. He's the dessert man in our house.
Good bye to fun dinners with the colonists.

One last night out with the ladies! Dessert at the Melting Pot. Oh ya! Can't go wrong with the ladies and Cho-co-la-tay!

Good bye ladies.

And another night out with some friends from the Spanish Branch.

Good bye Spanish Branch.

Moving is hard, well if you love where you're at. I know it's not a surprise to anyone, but I get emotional about it almost everyday. I don't bawl out my eyes, I'm waiting until we actually move to do that, but you know, those moments of reflection and thought and your eyes well up. Sigh...just getting emotional...

Getting on my horse

Major packing going on this week. As well as responsible phone calls, like finding health insurance, finding an house to live in, setting up shut off dates for phone and electric...all the fun stuff. We'll see how successful this week is.
Here I go, Giddy up!

Breakfast is the most important meal...

....so eat up!!
Almost every morning, this little munchkin eats 3 bowls of Cheerios.
They're little kid bowls, but I fill it up. Every morning I hear,
"Mama, more. Mama, more!"
Nani is such a good eater and it's rather nice.
