Me and the Rachie-Poo!

Me and my Lover.

Some of the cutie little cousins.

My brother Jai and his wife Janel with Matthew getting in on the picture.

Nani trying to sneak out of the reception.

Me and my baby.

Oh, uh, this is not a reception picture, but my sista's being silly with a Lego made storm trooper at Wal-Mart.

Rach and the Nani.

My sisters and 2 nieces

Getting ready for the Haka and to scare the ba-gee-bies out of Sadie.

Sadie singing to Curtis. It was beautiful.

The first dance!

We had lots of fun at the reception. I know all my siblings have some great pictures of the fun during the food prep, the program and the dancing. Sometimes we just don't know when to go home...or go to sleep for that matter.

The Sealing and Reception...Day 3

(I stole all these pictures from my sisters, because I left my camera in the car)
This is my brother Curtis and his wife Sadie. Such a beautiful couple!

The siblings.
Some of the cousins at the reception.

Los Hombres.

Las Mujeres con El Hombre.

The next day...Day 2

We just had a few chores to get ready for the wedding and then dessert and game night with Saide's family.
Our family absolutely loves to play games. Seriously, we can't get enough of them. We stay up all night long just to hang out with each other and play games. We're competitive, but we've learned to just have fun.

Another thing you will see our family doing is sitting around singing while my dad and brothers play the "Uke" The truth is we don't really sing very well at all, but that dosen't keep us from doing it.

It was great to have Sadie's dad playing and singing too.

Wedding festivities and fun... Day one

This is our "New Sister Napping" in action. My sister Dacia knocked on the door and carried our new sister-in law to be down the stairs into the get away vehicle and we went to lunch at Macaroni Grill.

These are the stairs that she carried her down, with heels on I might add.

Opening all the fun gifts!

All of us, except my sister taking the picture and another sister who couldn't make it until the next day. There's 9 of us and my mom.

Our New sister and my sister Mashaide. Many more good times to come Ms. Sadie. Never a dull moment when you're with the ladies!!!

More projects, other than the dresses and before Utah

Kitchen towel apron

Apron for Activity days (8-11 yr old girls) I made 12 aprons and then sewed all the letters to spell serve on seperate fabrics and then the girls picked out the letters they wanted and glued them on with fabric glue. Then they added some bottons.

Some baby leggings made from women's knee highs.

Bitty booties for a friend's baby girl.

More bitty booties for another friend's baby boy.
More projects and Christmas presents to come. I enjoy all the project making.

Look Familiar?

This is basically the same dress we did for me sister's reception this last summer. The only differences are the fabric and the sleeves. I only have to put the bottom ruffle on 4 more and then I'm done. These are for my little brother's reception next week. He's the last of the siblings to get married. So after next week all 9 of us will be married. And I consider myself very blessed because not only do I have great in-laws from Matthew's family, but all those married into the family fit in so well. This is just one of the few projects I've been doing lately.

Our latest outing

We went to an old library in Valley Forge, which is used for something else now, but not open to the public. We had a really good time and it's a cool old building. The pictures aren't the greatest, but look at them anyway.

There's a first for everything

This last Tuesday, of course, was election day, and my first time voting. I was disappointed that I didn't get my "I voted" sticker, too bad I wasn't as creative as a friend. I didn't really want to do an election post because there's so much I could say, but would rather not on our family blog. So thanks to another friend, you can see how I feel because Aleah said it all. Even if you don't want to know how I feel you still have to read this post. Thanks for posting that Ashley, I just LoVe It!

The Last of Halloween for 2008

We started off the morning with ghost pancakes.

Then the pumpkin patch.

Mummy dogs for lunch, with fingers and eyes, okay really grapes and Cheetos, but it was fun to pretend.

Then, of course, some trick-or-treating. One last picture of Goldie Locks.

In action.

And a little dinner that no one ate, except me. We didn't have enough time to eat before meeting friends for trick-or-treating, so when we came back, no one wanted to eat because they were full of candy.

That was our Halloween. I hope your was fun too!
