Girls weekend

Sept. 10-12th, my sisters and a niece got together for a Girl's Weekend! It was more than fun! It was rejuvenating, it was uplifting, it was fulfilling. Besides just enjoying each other, we went to a Time Out For Women's conference in Boise. It was Fri. night and Sat. morning/afternoon. I highly recommend going if you get a chance. It really is a "Time Out" and you hear many inspiring messages. I've been to TOFW before, but because I went with my sister's this time, it was even better. After the conference, back at my sister's house, we shared testimonies, laughter, burdens and comfort. My sisters are all great examples and provide inspiration and strength. I appreciate the time I was able to spend with them and build even stronger bonds. I love you sisters! Thank you for a profound moment in life and all the fun we had! Can't wait until next time!
Some of the other things we did: went to the Boise Temple, had a sister photo session, went out for appetizers and lunch, played games, and talked....ALL NIGHT LONG. From the time I got there, Thursday night, to the time I left, Sunday morning, so 3 nights, I figured I slept for about 8 hours. I love my sleep, but when I get with my sisters (family) I love being with them more! (My poor husband. I came home and passed out on the couch. He is so kind to me!)
Picking me up from the airport.

Dosh, I really wanted to post this pic because it reminds me of all the good laughs we had that weekend. Since I saw it on your blog, I figured it was safe.

I appreciate my wonderful husband and his parents for taking care of the girls so that I could spend that time with my sisters!

Saturday Fun

A couple of us ladies went down to Fabric Row in Philly. It was lots of fun! Good company and fabric, what's not to love?! There were some cool little shops and we got a few scraps. I know this is dorky, but looking at all the fabric is inspiring for the creative mind. My mind was going in a million different directions with ideas.

We had to stop for lunch and we had to "Get it BIG", obviously. We went to Pot Belly's. Some good sandwiches.

We were gone a lot longer than expected, but my rockin' husband didn't mind at all. He was just glad that I had fun. He's awesome! Here are a few pictures of the girls playing before a late dinner and bed time.

It was a GREAT day! Loved it!

Wedding festivities and fun... Day one

This is our "New Sister Napping" in action. My sister Dacia knocked on the door and carried our new sister-in law to be down the stairs into the get away vehicle and we went to lunch at Macaroni Grill.

These are the stairs that she carried her down, with heels on I might add.

Opening all the fun gifts!

All of us, except my sister taking the picture and another sister who couldn't make it until the next day. There's 9 of us and my mom.

Our New sister and my sister Mashaide. Many more good times to come Ms. Sadie. Never a dull moment when you're with the ladies!!!

Time Out For Women!

Here are a couple of us who went with Hilary Weeks in the Middle. It was a good time and Hilary Weeks has some great inspiring music!

This is Jane Clayson Johnson. I read an article about her in the BYU alumni Magazine awhile ago and it was a feel good to be a mom article. I love those! (She was signing some one's book and I stole a picture of her before I had to sit down.)

So that was time out for women and I can't wait until the next time I can go!

TOFW

I'm not going to blog about this right now, but I just have to say, I went to Time Out For Women today and it was a blast! Really uplifting and now I'm the perfect wife and mother.
