Post Christmas Activities

We didn't get around to doing our Gingerbread house before Christmas, but I didn't think that the Gingerbread kit would still be good next year, actually it probably would have since you don't really eat it. I guess you do eat some of it, at least the girls did. Well, anyway we finally did the house for FHE and the girls loved it!

And these pictures are one of my fun projects...cleaning out and getting ready to move.
I know it's 5 months away, but that's just how I like to do the whole moving thing. I love getting rid of the stuff we don't use or realize we don't need.
So this is a picture of our little front door area
And this is a picture of our living room.

And soon, within the next 5 months, it will all be organized.

There will be plenty more pictures to come. What can I say? I enjoy it! The feeling of being organized is a feeling of peace and order. Sigh.

I just love order!!! We just went through our closets last week and took 5 bags of clothes to DI. It will help with the deductions :) and our closets are clean and organized. Now I need to get to my desk!!!

I can not believe you are packing already! I remember those days, and how stressed out I was. Some how it all comes together. Good job for starting now. THat was the idea when I was in your shoes. I am so happy for you to be able to do what you love, and even better to be almost done with school.

I'm right there with you too Bels on the organization. I just re-did my two pantry's (sp?) and I'm getting ready to organize my office for the new year.

As much as I hate moving it is one sure fire way to declutter. Plus starting so far in advance you can be thourogh and you don't just end up tossing things in boxes (yea i have done that more than once, I might have a few boxes like that in my basement I never unpacked..)

Guess you can already guess how I feel about organization. With your's and Dacia pix I have gingerbread envy. JK I used to do that all the time. It was fun. Now it's more fun to look at your pics and do something else. I think you're great.

AMEN on the peace and order. I am totally the same way. When we moved into our house I did not want ANYTHING to come through the door that was not necessary! Good job!
Love the post Christmas house, looks like fun and I love the girls matching aprons!
