Just a few more moments of fun from our trip

This is us being thoroughly productive. What can I say we had a little extra time. We were doing food prep. for my brother's wedding reception and like I said we had some time on our hands, so we decided to feed each other grapes. It's a little easier when you throw grapes up for yourself to catch, nut when someone else throws them for you, a little more complicated. I had no hope.

I decided to jump to complicate it even further.

I don't know where the grape is, but my sister called this her "Yo Adrian" face.
(This is my sister Mashaide)

The grape is about 2 inches above her mouth! Perfect!
(this is my sister Dacia)

It's what's to be expected. One of my brothers comes in from the peanut gallery to show his sisters how it's done. Okay, okay hot shot! So now lets see if you can catch them rapid fire....that back fired, he stilled managed to catch most of them even though they were coming one right after the other a million miles an hour! Punk! Just kidding, it was actually rather impressive.
(Oh, this is my brother Caleb. Rach actually did a really good job too, but I don't have any pix. Actually I stole these ones. Thanks Mashaide.)

Last but not least, this is me getting TKO'd by a grape. Seriously, I look like the little guy from Mike Tyson's punch out when he's getting knocked out. It's a grape for crying out loud, stand your ground woman! I didn't really get knocked out, just in case you were worried, I didn't even fall to the ground, but it sure looks like it.

This picture is for Matthew. I thought he'd appreciate it. I kept trying to take his picture with my sister's camera and he thought he'd be difficult and keep taking my picture with our camera. So there you go babe, just for you!

Tuesday we went to this place called Bouncing off the Walls. It was a good time for the little munchkins! This is Kanani and her cousin Niche, well really her name is Kalia. Niche is her nick-name given to her by her brother. Anyway, Kanani and Niche went down this slide over and over together. It was too cute. I don;t have any pictures of Aleah on the slide because she was too scared to go down. I don't even have any pictures of her there because she dropped the camera while we were there and we lost some of the pix.

Our Family Sunday Lesson

Sunday afternoon my mom gave us jewelry from our belated Nanaw. I picked out this locket with their pictures in it and this little jewelry box.

Then after that we had a family lesson. Some of us went to sacrament meeting and then 2 of my brothers and sister gave us a combined Elders Quorum/Relief Society Lesson. We all contributed here and there with our thoughts and testimonies. It was a really good experience and love that we can sit down and do that as a family. Thanks Lex for getting it rolling.

These are pictures are from before the lesson when we were just sitting around talking.

Getting ready for the Haka and to scare the ba-gee-bies out of Sadie.

Sadie singing to Curtis. It was beautiful.

The first dance!

We had lots of fun at the reception. I know all my siblings have some great pictures of the fun during the food prep, the program and the dancing. Sometimes we just don't know when to go home...or go to sleep for that matter.

The Sealing and Reception...Day 3

(I stole all these pictures from my sisters, because I left my camera in the car)
This is my brother Curtis and his wife Sadie. Such a beautiful couple!

Los Hombres.

Las Mujeres con El Hombre.

The next day...Day 2

We just had a few chores to get ready for the wedding and then dessert and game night with Saide's family.
Our family absolutely loves to play games. Seriously, we can't get enough of them. We stay up all night long just to hang out with each other and play games. We're competitive, but we've learned to just have fun.

Another thing you will see our family doing is sitting around singing while my dad and brothers play the "Uke" The truth is we don't really sing very well at all, but that dosen't keep us from doing it.

It was great to have Sadie's dad playing and singing too.

Wedding festivities and fun... Day one

This is our "New Sister Napping" in action. My sister Dacia knocked on the door and carried our new sister-in law to be down the stairs into the get away vehicle and we went to lunch at Macaroni Grill.

These are the stairs that she carried her down, with heels on I might add.

Opening all the fun gifts!

All of us, except my sister taking the picture and another sister who couldn't make it until the next day. There's 9 of us and my mom.

Our New sister and my sister Mashaide. Many more good times to come Ms. Sadie. Never a dull moment when you're with the ladies!!!

More projects, other than the dresses and before Utah

Kitchen towel apron

Apron for Activity days (8-11 yr old girls) I made 12 aprons and then sewed all the letters to spell serve on seperate fabrics and then the girls picked out the letters they wanted and glued them on with fabric glue. Then they added some bottons.

Some baby leggings made from women's knee highs.

Bitty booties for a friend's baby girl.

More bitty booties for another friend's baby boy.
More projects and Christmas presents to come. I enjoy all the project making.
