Januray Recap

It's always sad to say bye to the holidays and put away the decorations, but it's nice that it slows down a bit...just so we can find other ways to stay busy like....

Coloring in the kitchen while....

Mommy learns to bake bread.

And finding ways to celebrate 9 wonderful years of marriage!
These are the most beautiful flowers Matthew's has ever sent me!
(I'll have to do another post about  our anniversary.)

And when things slow down enough, we get to play some computer games...

and sit on a stool in the pantry and eat snacks...

and hide:)

We also make time to help with fun school projects!

And learn to bake more....

and last but not least, we get to work on reading and site words:)

There's a documented recap of January 2012.

More tubes and less Adnenoids

Back in November 2011, Nani had tubes put in her ears and her adenoids taken out.
She was very excited because Aleah had the same procedure done and she was getting her turn. Big sisters are so wonderful that we want to be just like them :)

Here she is already with her new stuffed animal, Ollie the otter.

She did such a good job!

All done and waiting to wake up.

We must have been really good!

On Christmas morning the girls were very surprised!
 Aleah exclaimed,
"Wow, we must have been REALLY good!"
Here are a few pictures of unwrapping presents and stockings before church that morning.

We are so blessed to have a home and family and the luxury of buying gifts. And we are so blessed to know that our Savior came into this world to show us the way, to love us and to provide a way back.
I love the excitement, warmth and love that is felt during this time of year.

P.S. Aleah lost her first tooth on Christmas day!
