Time Out for Women 2011

November 2011, we did TOFW in Kansas City. Of course it was so fun to be with all these ladies and to be uplifted by the talks given during the conference. There was lots of laughing, not much sleeping and a little crying. It was a much bigger group than before and it was so fun to bond and get to know each other better. We all have so much going on in our lives and can't be a part of each other's everyday lives, but when we get these moments to step away and renew these relationships, it seems to recharge us and give us strength, as well as, things to laugh at.
I love all these wonderful ladies and I love my wonderful husband who supported and encouraged this trip.

(there's so many pictures from this trip, but it would exhaust the blog)

Fun parenting.

Learning to sit in a chair a dinner time can be hard, so I decided to help her out that night. In good fun we taped Aleah to her chair and she rather enjoyed it.

Since it was such a struggle to sit in their chair they had to find dessert. We hid a few oreos and told them they could have dessert if they found it. We taped them, in zip lock bags, to the bottom of the chairs. With a little help from Daddy, they found them.

Thanksgiving November 2011

 The Thanksgiving Chefs
 The Chef Supporters
 Cousins hanging out
Doing Grandma's hair, a regular activity.
 Painting cupcake piggy banks.
 Checking the ads.
It was nice enough for the kids to play outside. So they played on the train tracks and the dirt hill.

 The traditional marshmallow guns.
sucker shot
 She's eating the ammo
 The beautiful turkey
 Some of the yumminess

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving with The Perrys from Nebraska and the Perry Grandparents.

And we did make it out for black friday the next day too. Actually Matthew, Michael and Elena went out at midnight to walmart to fight the crowds and enjoy the madness. Then the next morning we tried going to Menaurd's but it was way way too busy! So we just went to the mall and then breakfast. It was a good time.
