Love at first sight

I guess for those who want the story and details, this is as good as it gets:
Monday, at my doc. appt., we scheduled the next available day to be induced, which was Wednesday morning. The due date was the upcoming friday and the doctor was worried about the baby being too big. (since Nani was 9lbs 2 oz) So Wednesday, at 6am, we went to the hospital, got all checked in, and I was started on pitocin at 7am. I got my epidural at 7:20 and it was pretty kick back the rest of the way. I progressed typically then sped up and we had a baby at 2:24pm. She was 8lbs 15oz. and 19.5 inches. She was absolutely beautiful. Everything went great. I definitely like being induced. It was wonderful. It was an enjoyable experience and I felt more rested and felt that the recovery was better. Yes, technically, I'm still recovering and healing, but it just seems much better this time around.
Things in life are less stressful and much more enjoyable this time around.
Next time, I'm going to try for another induction.

The girls loved her right away. They love holding her and calling her baby Maya. They're always checking to make sure she's okay and that someone is with her. They get very concerned when she cries but are quickly there to give her a pacifier and tell her it's okay.
It's so exciting to add another girl to our family. They will all be the best of friends and love each other. I'm excited to see them grow up together.
I just love my babies!

Kool Aid Days

We went to visit cousins a few weekends ago and enjoyed the Kool Aid Day events. Here is our recap via pictures.

Aleah, Cousin Elizabeth and Nani on the train.

Proof I was there.

It got hot sitting and waiting for the train.

The Kool Aid Stand.
You buy a Kool Aid mug and then drink all the Kool Aid you want all day long. It was pretty good Kool Aid. They had some really good flavors! The invisible one was cool!
Aleah after her proud moment of going down the slide herself! Good job Roo, way to be brave!
Matthew took the little girls down the inflatable slide. I guess I didn't get a picture of the sliding.

She tried getting the Kool Aid mans attention several times. Maybe next year!

They had lots of games for the kids to play. They girls enjoyed it and so did we! I think we mostly liked being with our cousins!
