We're back from the OBX and here to stay...

We made it back about an hour ago, and of course it's nice to be back in your house and all, but when you go on a real vacation, it's hard to come back. And for all of those who were worried, or not worried, we left before the hurrican hit.
When I get the pictures uploaded to the computer then I'll post about out trip.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Will I ever catch up?

Well, this summer has just flown by and I haven't blogged about much of it.
Whenever I leave town, it always takes me a little while to get caught up around the house after I get home. But whenever I leave town it usually takes me a little while to get prepared for that. When it comes to blogging, well it's not high on the priority list when you have other things to get done.
To sum up summer: Getting ready to leave, getting back on track, getting ready to leave, getting back on track, getting ready to leave, getting back on track, and yes getting ready to leave on more time and then I'll have to get back on track one more time. At least we'll have a couple months break before we have to leave again in November.
So after the end of the semester and all the seniors moved, we went to Kansas for the first time, which I thoroughly blogged about. Then we came home and we got ready for my sister wedding reception in Idaho, I blogged a little about that. But then we went, and I didn't blog at all about our trip out there. Sorry, maybe that'll come. Then when we got home, we found out that we were going back out to Kansas for a second interview!! We were really excited about it and I haven't blogged about that. So hopefully that too is coming. And this week, well, were getting ready to leave bright and early Saturday morning. But at least this trip, we don't have to do anything except sit on the beach for a week. And then, yes, hopefully that too will blogged about.
Alright, back to the chores. Oh, wait, today's Matthew's birthday, so maybe that will get blogged about too!

Well, we're in Kansas. We came back for a second interview for that previously mentioned practice in McPherson. I'll post more when we get home. I guess I just thought I'd mention it.
We get back on Thursday night, which means we miss on first softball play off game....boo! But we're very happy to be here in Kansas. Barnstormers better win on Wednesday so we can win the next week too!!! Good Luck guys!

My baby is one...

Kanani's birthday was yesterday! She's one year old! She had a fun day! Aleah sang Happy Birthday to her all day and was so excited that it was hard for Nani not to be excited. We got fries for lunch, because Nani loves them, and then went to the park. The second Kanani touch the ground she was off like a wild woman. She was so happy running free in all the open space that she just squealed and screeched the whole time. Aleah is such a good sister that she showed Nani how to play on the play ground, she caught her at the bottom of the slide and took her down the slide on her lap. Kanani had so much fun playing with her big sister. After the park we can home and took naps so we could be ready to party all night long.Aleah and Daddy made cupcakes, that were perfect!!! She opened presents and ate her cupcake. She loved the wrapping paper, I'll see if I can upload the video. We'll my two girls keep growing up, and I know it's necessary and the way things are supposed to be, but sometimes it's too much for me and I wish they could stay little forever.
